April 1st is not only April Fools Day but the Palis Anniversary. 38 years Ali has had to put up with Pat.

Unfortunately Pat had to attend a funeral of one of his Ultimate Players. (Ed Jessop) He was a great athlete and a really good person. Sad, but Pat got to reunite with some of the other players from his past teams.

Little Joanne had a brunch at her house. With special guests: Larry and Fran, Ronnie, Jack and Ruby, Her son Jason and daughter in law Lauren, grandsons (Tucker and Miles), Holly and some of the regulars: Markus and Theresa, Pat and Gladys, Wolfgang and Kathy, Bev and Austin, Mike and Charmaine, Harry and Laurie, and Ali (Thanks for taking the photos Ali) . Pat had to go to a funeral, so he had to miss all the fun.

Our first sunset. We got to see the mom and new baby sea lion and then go see a Magnum P.I. event.
The Merry Monarch is very important dance competition in Hawaii during April.

Dinner with Chris at the recently reopened La Marianna Sailing Club. A real taste of old Hawaii.
Our last day of having a car, so we had to go check out some of the spots of the Pali Tour. When people come over to visit us we take them on the Pali Tour and show parts of Oahu that few know of. 1st stop was the rainforest hike to the waterfall. It actually is a half a mile from downtown Honolulu, but you'd never know it. Second was to Punchbowl where were exactly 5 years ago to the day. 4/24/2018 and 4/24/2023.
Ali's Hawaiian Gang friend, Diane, comes over to visit the Palis. Her first sunset with us. More fun to come.

Got to go see a softball game with my cousin playing Pam and Jessie Padilla granddaughter and guess what, they were play Long Beach State. Then went to the Spam Jam, Got flowers from Amy, went to Duke's for lunch. And then best present of all. THE WARRIORS WON AND ADVANCE TO WESTERN SEMI'S
