Can believe it's been over 60 years since these guys were in High School together and then went on to college together.  Both Orange Coast College and Long Beach State University.  We were missing only Joe.

We kind of got the "We-5" (a name copied off of a band back in the 60) finally back together for the first time in over 55 years.  The five individuals: Terry Lorentzen, Joe Caruselle, Pat Pohl, Dan and Darrell Metzger all went to Newport Harbor together, and then Orange Coast College, and then Long Beach State together.  Then they split up.  Joe and Dan served in the military, Terry and Pat went into coaching and teaching, and Darrell went into business.  He worked at Disney, then went abroad to run other amusement and entertainment companies. Still great friends but not always able to get together.  The Newport Harbor 60 year class reunion was going to be the time they all get together.  We in the past were only able to get four of us together (Joe, Terry, Darrell, and Pat). But this time we were all making it to the reunion because Dan was coming.  Except right before the event, Joe had some major medical issues which were taken care of in the ICU.  So we had to photoshop him into one of the photos.  But it was great to get to see Dan .
