​It's getting to look a lot like Christmas

Pali starts their road trip by visiting kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  New father, Hunter with his new future star son Miller. watching football.  Ali with the future star.  Nechia, Ali, and Carlyn.  Ruby the dog. We visit our good friends Ed and Joanne in Templeton, Ca.

They've done a little work on removing some of the vegetation.  Can you see the house behind the trees in the photo to the left.  The photo on the right is what it looks like today.  Much better and the view are incredibly more beautiful now.  I think they have removed over a hundred trees.

Palis do their Disney tradition.  This year it was a one day marathon at Disneyland and California Adventure.

A quick visit to Terry's house where we got to go to Charlie's Chili and a visit with Bev also.  The 2nd photo at Charlie's Chili was Terry's idea.  LOL.  Beautiful day for walk on Newport Pier with Jonathan Seagull.

 Then the Palis travel south to San Clemente for a little break.  At least it's warmer than Tahoe.
We're stayinging at the Casa Blanca Hotel.  Just like Bogie and Bacall did in Key Largo.

Dinner at The Shwack

Back in Tahoe and back on the slopes. Inversion day with fog on the lake but clear up on the mountain.  Last year we had way too much snow.  This year we aren't getting any,  Repeating the same run gets boring.

I can post these photos of fireworks for celebrating 2024 cause there were done in Australia. They are way ahead of us on the date line.  I know once I flew from Syndey to SF and landed 2 hours before I took off.
