Mike was feeding the birds.  So he and Charmaine didn't go. Just kidding.  They're recuperating.

There were only four of us making the hike, but then we met Dave at the trail head. So we called ourselves the "Fearless Five".  A small group of dedicated hikers who braved the weather. It's called Shower Lake for a reason, you know. The flowers were amazing. The hike had spectacular vistas and a little bit of everything.

I got to tell you that Daniel has a good eye for taking really good photos

The best part of the hike is when you see the cars and you get to drink and eat peanuts.  Thanks Daniel.
