Got to visit our friend Ronnie in the hospital today.  He's getting much better. His brother Greg looks over him.  Ronnie and Pat. Both Pats, Gladys, and Ali, Vic and Ronnie, Ronnie with the thumbs up.  He's back.

That's the good news.  The bad news is we lost Ron's cat Bella.  20 years old.

​First Friday Hike of September.  We do the Goat Trail up to the top of Mt. Tallac.

Then the next day Ali and Pat get to down to the East Bay and get to visit with Thomas and then up to Carlyn's home in Alamo for a 5 - 2 birthday party.  Not a 52nd birthday but a 5 and a 2 party.  It was for Carter who will be 5, and his little brother Miller who will be 2. We got a nerf balls for all of them including Wyatt who is turning 2 also. Pictured with his father Steve.  Heather did finally get out of the pool.  She is part fish. Ali, Nechia and Carlyn Darlin' (look at her hat) had a group hug and it was a great party. Justin and Kaylin the cutest couple ever. And Heather, Carter, Miller, and Wyatt photos.  It was a very fun day.

Pat's favorite student: Paul Stephens just finished the PCT.  Hiked all the way from Mexico to Canada.  His wife Anne always posted photos and stories of his sojourn.  She's the real hero.  Mailing him food and supporting him though out the long journey.  She came by and visited with us. Congratulations to Paul.

The last concert of the summer at Lake Baron.  The band was named Boot Juice.

Being good neighbors we went to the Thai restaurant on Ski Run.  It was good. Joanne, Gladys, Ali, and Pats

It was a perfect day.  Thanks Larry for tickets, & Joanne for organizing this. A good meal at Harrahs too.

We got treated to a great dinner at Scuza's by Jacqueline.  Yum, yum. She wanted to reward us for picking her and her boyfriend "Matt" up from the end of their TRT hike. (Tahoe Rim Trail). Matt was out of town.

Dinner with friends: Cary, Joanne, Rusty, Pat, Gladys, and Ali.

A fun day with Ronnie and then the Nobrigas and Pali go to the movies.  "The Senior" was really good.
