2025 New Orleans / Norwegian Cruise Trip – April 2025
Ali and Pat do a cruise out of New Orleans. We fly from Reno to New Orleans, have a beignet, then visit the World War II museum and then walk down Bourbon Street. Then 7 days at sea and stopping in various ports. Then back to NOLA and then back home. BTW the WWII museum was just amazing. Very emotional.

Lunch: a poor boy sandwich and beignet fries

First day was called a sea day. Because we are at sea all day. We start of going down the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico (I mean the Gulf of America) LOL. Good thing we didn't get sea sick, cause it was kind of stormy & bumpy. Instead of exercising, we just ate a lot. Giant Buffet. But the sun came out for sunset.

First day at sea.

First Port Stop – Costa Maya

Second Port – Harvest Caye Belize

Fancy Dinner Night

Third Port Day – Roatan, Honduras

Fourth Port Day – Cozumel, Mexico

Last Day of Cruise is a "sea day". Back to Nawlins. But first a Brazilian Style Dinner

Then we get up on the stage and perform "Sweet Caroline". We were way back at the rear.

Then our two last day were like the song from "Fiddler on the Roof" Sunrise, Sunset, Sunrise, Sunset. Except these photos are reversed. Finally back in New Orleans for two more days at Harrah's (Caesars) again.

Last days in New Orleans: we did silly stuff like take photos in the elevators. With all the sidewalls covered in mirrors, it made funny photos. Also we bought the "Le Pass" or as it was called the "Jazzy Pass" which for 80 cents got us an one day pass for all the trolly cars, ferries, and buses around the city of New Orleans.

Le Pass or as they call in NOLA, "Jazzy Pass" (trollies, ferries, and busses all day for 80 cents.)

Our last dinner in Nawlins had to be cajun. So we chose Blue Bayou. Great food, desserts, and music.

Our last night of our adventure we end up back at the Silver Legacy in Reno. Morning view before heading home. It was a fun and relaxing vacation. We might have eaten too much though. But it tasted good.
