5/9/25 Mt. Tallac Hike
Harry, Karen, Dave, Pat, and Tom at the top of Mt. Tallac

The "Fab Five" grind their way to Mt. Tallac via the Goat Trail.  Not an easy trail. Shorter but steeper,

There were some scary spots

Since I did some historical stuff with Mt. Tallac Hikes, I thought I put in some photos from my first climb.  In 2001, I climbed it with my wife Ali, my grandkids Justin and Carlyn, and a friend Liz and her son Jason.  Carlyn was almost 5 years old.  If it hadn't been for a dog hiking with her owner, I don't think she would have made it.  But she loved the dog and it kept her going.  I think I ruined her from being a hiker in her later years. She is now 30. Many years later I climbed with my grandson Justin who became a stud athlete.  He was up there hours before we made it. Youth is such a great gift.  It's a shame we waist it on Kids.  LOL
