The 2020 Hawaiian Crow's Nest/Blue Kangaroo Road Tour
Every two years the Palis attend Ali's Hawaii Gang for a reunion somewhere in the world. This year it was suppose to be in Alaska. But because of the pandemic it was cancelled. So the Palis decided to do a west coast road trip to go visit many of the attendees, along with some other friends and family members along the way. We started October 13th and would travel till early November. Below are the photos and narrative of this fantastic undertaking. Lots of fun visits and lots of fun storytelling along the way with lots of people.
And off we go….. 10/13/20 – Las Vegas or Bust
Actually before we departed for the road trip we went to visit Julie who's part of the Hawaii Gang Reunion. Julie lives in Carson City and owns a Landscaping business. So told us to say "Hi" to everyone on the Tour.
And even before Julie while we were in Hawaii in the spring, we met for dinner with George and
his daughter Lauren and hubby Kapono, along with Paul and Debbie.

The trip home (Reno)
We had to shorten our trip. So we left from Richland, Wa. and drove to Reno and stayed at the Peppermill.
The 9-11 memorial is in Richland. KFC was a trip goal that we finally fulfilled. We also learned how hops are grown and harvested. After Reno we returned to Lake Tahoe the following day. 4,000 miles road trip. Done.
