Last morning on Kauai.  Pat's run had to be on a treadmill.  It was pouring.

We're now over on a Oahu.  Our first sunset. Not so good.

But then again, it's Hawaii.  Great looking clouds.  Morning walk, Ali finds a beaitiful tree.

Dinner at Nico's (Pier 38) with Jay.  Yum - Yum.

So our second sunset was very special.  Because our favorite neighbors of all time found us.  Donna and Tom.

But there's more to a sunset..... Reflection in Ali's eyes and the walk back looking at Diamond Head.

 Doing a 1/2 marathon is hard for an 80 year old. But it's harder doing the months of training. Hard is good.

Since Pat took first in his age group, we had to celebrate with a great breakfast at Cream Pot. Yum-Yum.

Past Half Marathons in Hawaii on Memorial Weekends: 2019 we were on a road trip, 2020 was cancelled by covid, but I ran it anyway),  Didn't run 2023 to 2025. Finally 2026, first place in my division. 80 yrs old.

Ran into Pat and James for sunset.  Took this photo to see the reflection of the sun in their glasses. Next night we are with them again. Ali demonstrating how to make the taco salad to Patty, Jim, Pat, and James.

Today's workout was Kokohead. A thousand steps (railroad ties). Which means, I did 2,000. Up and down.

Happy 61st Birthday to my oldest daughter Tammy.  Here are 3 photos from 60 years, 7 years, & 1 year ago.

The last day of May and we decided to have a fun day.  First, we went to church which is a beautiful church. Then we went to Pearl Harbor and checked out the new museums and exhibitions.  Then of to Aulani for our Disney fix.  Fun day so far.  Unfortunately we got a flat tire on the way back home with no spare.  Not fun.
